900 Create an archive administration

Only the main administration (Default) can be archived. A copy of the database is then stored under a self-determined archive name. An archive administration can be opened from TimeWriter by clicking on the name of the opened administration at the bottom right of the main window and then choosing the administration to be opened. In an opened archive administration you can then work in the same way as in the main (Default) administration.

 

1.Go to the module Maintenance and settings | Tasks and choose task 900 Create an archive administration.

2.Make sure the main administration (Default) is opened.

3.Press the Execute maintenance task button.

4.Then enter a name for the new archive to be created.

5.Click on Ok, the new archive is will be created and appears in the list of administrations.
